How is my payment handled?

Payments are taken through PayPal in New Zealand Dollars. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Purchasing with a deposit

Original paintings over the value of $1000 can be purchased in stages. As the value of my work grows I understand this can be a helpful option. A 50% deposit and then another 50% payment a month later, or 2 25% payments over 2 months can be arranged. If you want to take advantage of this option you must email me directly and not go through the checkout. An invoice will be sent and details for payment will be emailed to you. By purchasing using this option you understand that this is a deposit to secure your artwork and you will be required to pay the remaining balance.

This is not a credit scheme, but an arrangement on trust, at no extra cost to you. Usual shipping costs and return policy will apply.

Paying by bank transfer

There is an option for New Zealand customers to pay by online banking. This saves me Paypal fees. If you would like to pay using this method select this option you will be emailed with details of how to pay. Please pay immediately as the artwork is marked as sold immediately and unavailable to others.

Shipping

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my artwork?

As soon as the full payment has been cleared your painting will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Within NZ, pieces are sent by NZPost Courier and should be with you in the North Island within 1 - 3 days, South Island 4 - 7 days. All shipments are tracked and require a signature on delivery. If you live locally I will deliver in person!

International shipping can vary. I have shipped to the States and it has taken 4 - 8 days door to door. Europe - about a week, maybe two.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?

Yes, and I will put the kettle on! Just email me to arrange a time.

What about large or high value artworks?

I appreciate this is a high value purchase – and a piece of work I have spent much time on! It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. This will be noted in the Shipping details with each product listing. Please checkout as usual; an estimated shipping charge will be added to your order. I will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is despatched.

Can you ship internationally?

Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. If your location is restricted once you get to the checkout you need a bespoke courier service. Message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.

Overseas shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country, (all my shipments to the US have not incurred any import tax). Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.

Returns

What if it arrives and I don’t like it?

I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.

If a piece is not as you expect, you have 7 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned we will refund your payment within 14 days. Payment is refunded minus the cost of shipping and PayPal fees.

What if my piece arrives damaged?

All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days and if possible keep a photograph. Touch wood - this has never happened with any of my shipments yet!

What about Overseas Returns?

At this time we are unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of NZ.
